Smoked salmon in Phyllo
Ingredients:
3 oz smoked salmon
1 pkg phyllo dough
Stilton cheese
Clarified butter
Oyster mushrooms, sliced and cooked
Preparation:
Mix salmon, cheese and mushrooms together and set aside
Lay phyllo out on table flat and cover with a damp cloth.
Take one piece of dough and place on a large cutting board
Brush lightly with clarified butter
Place another piece of dough over it and brush with butter and do one more sheet.
Cut the buttered leaves into six even stripes
Place a tiny bit of salmon mixture at the end of the strip and fold on the diagonal – continue folding so that a triangle is formed
Brush top with butter
Bake in 350º F oven for about 7 minutes or until golden brown
Serves 2.
Great with: rice, peas, carrots
